SŁAWOMIR SIENKIEWICZ
CHAIRMAN & ADVISOR
Slawek brings several decades of development and construction expertise to the table. Growing up in present-day Poland (then part of the Soviet Union), Slawek was no stranger to grueling labor working on his family's farm, where he built his first home by hand in highschool while attending school. Near the collapse of the Soviet Union, Slawek fled to America at 25 to pursue the American Dream. Through brute force and perseverance he built a development and construction firm from the ground up focusing on single family developments on the Northshore of Chicago. Though now retired from development, Slawek still works on an advisory basis for the Lukaven team with regard to construction practices, market outlook, and more.
During his free time, Slawek enjoys spending time with his family, traveling across the globe to explore new cultures.
Fun Fact: The first home Slawek built in the US he did entirely himself - from digging the foundation to putting in the mechanicals to the finishes. This allowed him to learn the ins and outs of all the construction trades.
CONRAD SIENKIEWICZ
CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING MEMBER
Conrad's entrepreneurial spirit started young in middle school when he sold homework answers to the other students. His nature always has him asking questions and pushing us to get to the next level, whether that's creating a more seamless experience for our clients, continuously improving the quality of construction, or finding means to move onto larger projects and new markets. At Lukaven Development, Conrad focuses on the sales, finance, and operations aspects, ensuring a filled pipeline of work and running projects from start to finish with Pat. As a licensed real estate agent, Conrad also functions as the in-house realtor. Before starting Lukaven Development with Pat, Conradworked as a project engineering manager in the solar energy space. He completed his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with distinction and went on to obtain his M. Sc. in Sustainable Energy Systems at the University of Edinburgh, where he finished at the top of his class.
During his free time, Conrad loves spending time outdoors (especially playing sports or camping and backpacking), olympic weightlifting, spending time with friends and family, attending live music events, and chatting about business.
Fun Fact: Throughout his life Conrad has moved over 20 times, ranging from Edinburgh, Scotland to Charlottesville, Virginia to New York City, NY, and back to Chicago, IL.
PATRICK SIENKIEWICZ
CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING MEMBER
Pat’s passion for construction began at an early age. Having a father in the home building and remodeling industry, he learned the ins and outs of construction. After completing his undergraduate in civil engineering at Marquette University, Patrick started his career at one of the nation's largest construction firms where he traveled across the US on a regular basis to supervise construction projects. Now, at Lukaven Development, Patrick takes on the project management and site supervision of many of Lukaven's builds. As an accredited professional civil engineer, Pat is also the in-house civil engineer on all of Lukaven's projects.
During his free time, Pat enjoys breaking a sweat running and exercising, spending time with his friends & family, and getting his hands dirty working on his car and other side projects.
Fun fact: Whether it's his car, computer, house, or anything else, Pat personalizes every last detail. It's also apparent what was designed by Pat with his distinctive style.
SIDDHRATHA HAVELIA
FINANCIAL ADVSIOR
Siddhartha has always been keen on supporting his friends and the team he works with, which helped him to dwell on the attributes of a leader. Planning out financial strategies and implementing them, managing budgets, overseeing financial reporting, and managing accounting operations are some things that excite him. He holds an ACA qualification from ICAEW and has a wealth of experience working as a CFO that facilitates him in giving valuable insights and guidance to the team. As a finance professional, he ensures the company's financial stability and consistency in the flow of revenue and profitability. His understanding of financial concepts is a plus, enabling him to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities.
Siddhartha Havelia, as a financial advisor for Lukaven, brings over two decades of experience in the financial industry to the table. With a reputation for providing clear, comprehensive advice and utilizing a client centered approach to help clients make informed decisions about their real estate investments, he is also a master black belt six sigma practitioner helping businesses adopt lean and efficient processes. When not working, Siddhartha enjoys exploring the spiritual sphere of the mind and spending quality time around nature.
Fun Fact: Siddhartha found his long-lost fascination with travelling and made it visible for others as well by averaging one trip a month in 2022.
